We are experts in providing cost effective solutions and to resolve challenges in formulations during shelf life, application and production.
We have expertise to develop surfactants for agrochemical formulations, mainly blends of non-ionic and anionic for emulsifiable concentrates, microemulsions, suspension concentrates and cationic and non-ionic surfactants for soluble liquids. Studying their characteristics and optimizing their dosages.
We are working to provide biological solutions to promote organic farming and reduce the dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

SJV Formulations Consulting is an enterprise founded and owned by Ruchi Sharma & Harsh Vardhan and specialized in supporting companies, research institutions and authorities in matters related to formulation of crop protection products, household pest control products, surfactant developments and characterisation, quality control and preparing technical dossiers.
Profile (Formulation expert)
Dr. Harsh Vardhan is a renowned professional in developing and resolving critical problems in formulation of crop protection products, household pest control products, surfactant development & characterisation, application of products and providing technical services of customers.
During his career of 27 years working in Research & Development with various multi-national and Indian companies, he has acquired extensive knowledge in formulating a wide range of pesticides that includes insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, rodenticides etc and developing surfactants for the formulations. He has developed several successful market products and has re-formulated many products to meet new regulatory requirements and cost effectiveness to meet market requirements.
He is qualified in agrochemicals & pest management from University of Delhi in 1993 and PhD in Microemulsions.

Development of formulations
We provide consultancy to develop and performance criteria for all major types of crop protection formulations such as Emulsifiable concentrate, Suspension concentrate, Suspoemulsion, Microemulsion, soluble liquid, Soluble liquid, and Wettable powders formulations.
Household pest control formulations developments and establishing performance criteria like liquid vaporizer, aerosol, coil, bait etc.
Surfactant Development
We provide consultancy and technical knowledge on development of surfactants for agrochemical formulations, their physical and performance studies and selection criteria and optimization of dosage. Surfactant is the key component to stabilize pesticides in water and also acts as adjuvants.
Training courses in formulation technology
We offer training courses in formulation development in the field of crop protection, household pest control products and surfactant development characterisation and testings.
These courses are suitable for chemists who are relatively new in formulation or for more experienced chemists who have not developed a specific formulation type yet. Courses can be held at your company and presentations can be provided on site along with demonstrations.

SJV formulation consultancy has separate entity with SJV Biotech Pvt Ltd that is providing consultancy and marketing of Bio products to increase the crop productivity and support organic farming and sustainability, particularly but not limited to crops such as:
